We know many of you are excited and counting down to the launch of the Dash Express on 3/27. To help share your excitement and spread the word about Dash, we have created a countdown widget.

Hi Chris -
Can you go into detail concerning the “launch”?
1. Does this mean that I can expect to have a tracking # on the 27th?
2. what method of shipping will you be using?
3. Are there any mitigating issues that will delay the launch or cause us to have units that are not completely functional?
4. Are ALL of the pre-orders shipping on the 27th or is there a rollout?

ok, taking a break from my marathon traffic post to answer your questions.
We will be using overnight shipping so you should have the device for the weekend. I will need to get back to you on the tracking number front… I have a question into the person who knows.
We are all systems go for launch, and there are no known issues that will impair your functionality.
We love our customers that pre-ordered for us, so we are shipping those out first.

Thanks for the response but you kinda dodge the big one. Will ALL pre-orders be shipping the 27th and you state overnight so if we paid for 2 day shipping will we recieve a refund? I went ahead a pre-ordered again in hopes that the 27th will happen. (anyone want to buy a Garmin 780…)

Matt S — I think he did answer that; first come first serve. You threw a hissy fit and canceled your order in February; the fact that you re-ordered in March means, as I read it, you might get one shipped on the 27th but doubtful, or he wouldn’t have used the wording ’shipping those out first’. No offense but check your irrational impulses next time if you can’t live with your decisions.

Tyrenta remove you lips for a second, I asked a strait forward question he did NOT answer in his response to dassless. I cancelled and dropped 800 bucks on another unit and re-ordered as a “Pre-order” for another 600 bucks and I want to know if all Pre-orders are shipping on the 27th or if it is a roll-out as dashless asked. Why I cancelled, or how many I did or did not order and have a “Hissy” fit over has nothing to do with my question.

@MattS - great to hear you decided to come back and give us a shot! As for ship date, your unit will be shipped with the rest of the pre-orders on the 27th. I don’t have an answer for you around your shipping question… but I will try and look into it. I am running a bit crazy right now with launch next week so bear with me if it takes me a while to get back to you on this one… and if you don’t hear from me soon please go ahead and just email me Mark AT dash.net

@mark Thank you thats the question I wanted an answer to. As to the shipping the only reason I bring it up is when you order you have a few shipping offers and if Dash is shipping overnight for all pre-orders they may want to change that option, its only 12 bucks but if the option isn’t needed maybe it should just be removed..just a suggestion
