Dash Express Now $299.99

Posted by Dave Zatz on June, 20 in Dash Express

bulb.jpgAfter seeing such outstanding results from our partners’ recent Dads & Grads promotion, we’ve decided to lower the price of the Dash Express. Hitting the $299.99 price point makes the Dash Express affordable for even more customers - accelerating the growth of the Dash Driver Network.

Being early adopters ourselves, we’ve witnessed our fair share of price drops. So, as a token of our appreciation, we’re providing an additional three months of free service to everyone who purchased a Dash Express on or before May 31.

Any news on the upcoming software update? Last I heard, it was scheduled to come out “toward the end of June”, but I wasn’t sure if that had changed. http://blog.dash.net/2008/05/07/we%E2%80%99re-off-to-a-great-start/

We upgraded the blogging software (WordPress 2.5.1) and migrated to a new server late Friday night.

During the process, we may have lost 2-3 (?) real comments that were submitted between importing content to the new location (Weds or Thurs) and completing the rollout. I’ll be recovering them. We also upgraded our blog comment/pingback spam software (Akismet) and a few clear cases of abuse were moderated out of view. Last but not least, two test comments (by Brandon and I) and one test post were deleted.

You should notice a much speedier loading blog and we’re better prepared to add additional features such as relevant sidebar widgets, comment editing, etc. We’re also better locked down to prevent spammer sql injections, etc.
